How much does a LIM report cost?
A LIM costs what the council that issues it charges, and each council sets its own fee. The four councils below each offer a standard service and a faster one for a higher fee. The law gives a council 10 working days to issue a LIM.

Fees are for a residential property and include GST. Commercial properties cost more.
Auckland Council adds 1.75% for card payments.
Councils can change their fees, so check the council's own page before you order.
For a property in another district, the LIM comes from that district's council, at that council's fee.
Have a lawyer or conveyancer look at the LIM before you commit. Bring in other experts when something could change your risk, your costs or what you can do with the property.
