Fees are for a residential property and include GST. Commercial properties cost more.
You can order a LIM and the property file together: $450 for 10 working days, or $735 for five.
Councils can change their fees, so check the council's own page before you order.
You order online with the property's address and legal description.
Day one of processing is the working day after the council receives your application and payment.
The council emails a link to download your LIM, and the link is valid for 14 days. If you don't have an email address, you can ask for a paper copy.
Tauranga City Council says its LIMs may include each natural hazard affecting the land and each impact of climate change that makes natural hazards worse; stormwater, water and sewer drains; the government valuation and this year's rates, including any owing; and the property's zoning.
Tauranga's planning rules are in the Tauranga City Plan.
